About C4EO

NFER is one of the four core partners in the new national Centre for Excellence and Outcomes (C4EO) in Children and Young People’s Services. Funded by the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF), the Centre launched on 10th July 2008.

The C4EO’s principal aim is to identify, coordinate and disseminate ‘what works’, in order to significantly improve the outcomes of children, young people and their families - realising the full potential of Every Child Matters (ECM).
