Hazel is a Senior Research Officer in the Department for Research in Assessment and Measurement. She is involved in developing the KS2 science tests and producing the products provided for schools to look at the analysis of pupil performance in the tests.
Hazel was a classteacher and the science co-ordinator in a primary school for four years. Since joining the NFER six years ago, she has worked on KS2 science tests for both England and Wales.
