Joining EMIE in May 2003, Monica is responsible for managing the production of EMIE reports and the publishing programme, leads on special educational needs, and marketing activities. She represents EMIE and the International Information Unit on Staff Council, in April 2007 took on a staff development role, working closely with Liz Cleaver, and is General Secretary on the Children’s Services Research Group General Committee.


Following careers in both the arts and higher education, Monica moved to nferNelson in 1992, a publisher of tests and assessments for the education, health & social care and business markets.

Monica had two articles published as part of the Study of Dance Conference 4 Report in 1986 whilst at the University of Surrey, jointly published the Directory of Dance Courses in Higher Education with Prof. J. Adshead, and contributed two articles to The International Dictionary of Ballet and Classical Dance.
