David is a Principal Research Officer in the Research, Evaluation and Information Department. His projects when at the NFER included a preliminary study of participation of young people of minority ethnic origin in ensemble music making, and an evaluation of the Fulbright Teacher Exchange Programme. In addition, leading the programme level evaluation of Creative Partnerships and was International Lead for the Department of Professional and Curriculum Studies (PCS). He is a member of the Editorial Board of Educational Reseach and an executive member of UKFIET (the United Kingdom Forum for International Education and Training). He is currently on secondment to the LGA.


 

At the NFER, has worked on a wide variety of projects covering many aspects of education. Worked as teacher and researcher at Keele University and the Open University.
