Anna is a Senior Research Officer in the Research, Evaluation and Information Department. She is also a member of the departmental Staff Development Group and Dissemination Working Group.

Joined NFER in January 2004 after completing a Masters in Education and Development studies at UEA, Norwich. Spent a year in Russia and a further two years in Portugal teaching English, eventually becoming Director of Studies.  Then worked in the West Indies, managing a collaborative project aiming to raise the motivation, attendance and attainment of low achieving pupils through the use of ICT. This project involved a large amount of school-based research.
