Liz is a Principal Research Officer in the Department for Research in Assessment and Measurement. She directs the project developing the key stage 2 English tests under contract to NAA. She is also National Research Coordinator for England and for Scotland in the Progress in International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS).


Before joining NFER in 1997, Liz was deputy headteacher of a combined school and has taught pupils throughout the primary age range.
