Jennie is a research officer in the Research, Evaluation and Information Department at NFER’s Northern Office based in York. Since joining the NFER in 2006, Jennie has worked on a range of research projects involving qualitative and quantitative methodologies. In particular, she has worked on a number of studies focusing on the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) agenda and workforce development and teacher CPD.

Prior experience and professional background

Jennie has a first class BSc (hons) Open (covering mainly psychology modules) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Social Research Methods.

Main research interests

Science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education; professional development; and careers education and guidance.
