Matthew is a Senior Research Officer in the NFER’s Northern Office based in York.  Matthew has considerable experience of working on national-scale evaluations, and has particular expertise in the areas of enterprise education, ICT, and training and development. Matthew has experience of working on both qualitative and quantitative research projects and evaluations for a range of clients including the Scottish Executive, the Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA), the Children’s Workforce Development Council and the Department for Children, Schools and Families.

  • Three month overseas research placement in Ghana (Lancaster University, June-August 2003)
  • Resident Foreign Expert (Teacher of IBO Geography and English) at the Beijing World Youth Academy, China (2001- 2002)
