Sarah is Head of the Department for Research into Assessment and Measurement. She is responsible for the overall strategy of the department, as well as for ensuring project work is delivered to a high quality and within time and budget constraints. She is also project director for a number of assessment research and development projects.
Prior experience and professional background
Prior to joining NFER in September 2008 Sarah worked at the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics. She also worked at Cambridge Assessment for 10 years, both in the Research and Evaluation Division, and heading up the Assessment Development Unit in the international business stream..
