Children’s Services at NFER help people working in children’s services to implement the Every Child Matters agenda. Working in close partnership with our clients, we carry out independent, innovative work which influences national and local policy developments for the benefit of children and young people. We offer:

EMIE at NFER works closely with researchers to provide information services and resources that help local authority children's services share expertise and effective practice.

In April 2007 Fiona Walker took up the new post of Principal Officer, Children’s Services. Fiona will be responsible for leading and co-ordinating the Foundation’s work on Children’s Services by developing and securing projects and services that meet clients’ needs and have an impact on policy and practice.
