Multi-agency working is a key aspect towards improving the outcomes for children and young people. Collaboration across agencies has increased in recent years and following the Children Act 2004 legislation, there is now a statutory duty on children’s services authorities to promote cooperation with relevant agencies, to improve the well-being of children and young people.
