Evaluation of the NYA tailored support offer to local authorities

The LGA has commissioned the NFER to undertake an evaluation of the National Youth Agency (NYA) programme of tailored support to local authorities. The research involves three strands:

• a desk review of the bids received for the tailored support programme and baseline telephone interviews;

• semi-structured case study interviews with stakeholders involved in the programme, and

• follow-up interviews with LA representatives to explore impact.

The outputs from the research will include an interim report, 11 standalone case-studies and a thematic report, which will draw out the key messages for the LGA, NYA, and local authorities.
