About LARC3
LARC3 is the round of research currently being undertaken by LARC. It is exploring the cost-effectiveness and the costs of the CAF process itself, how to define and demonstrate cost-effectiveness locally, and the future costs that may be avoided through effective intervention (“invest to save”).
Findings, conclusions and recommendations from LARC3, which NFER will draw together from the findings from individual LA projects, will be of interest to national and local Government agencies, Children’s Trusts, all Children’s Service authorities and anyone with an interest in integrated working; the CAF process and cost effectiveness.
LARC3 interim findings will be presented to the consortium during October 2010 and the final report will be published at end December 2010.
