Foremost in international comparison and benchmarking

NFER has a long and successful history of delivering international surveys and benchmarking studies.

Our established interdisciplinary methodologies bring together key expertise in assessment, evaluation, statistics, information and reviews. Our rigorous and independent approach, solid survey infrastructure, understanding of complex survey databases and secondary analysis experience ensure our findings are internationally respected.

Our work on international comparative studies such as PISA, TIMSS and PIRLS plays a vital part in measuring young people’s achievements in the UK compared with other parts of the world.

NFER is a founder member of IEA and AEA Europe.
