Eurydice and INCA

International evidence to support education policy making

An international perspective is an increasingly important element of any policy review. NFER’s in-depth international experience and expertise enables us to offer a wealth of insights into what is happening in other countries.

We can provide international information in an accessible, comparable format that can be used to inform policymaking in a wide variety of areas, for example: curriculum areas, qualifications frameworks, testing arrangements, examining teaching and learning, entry to higher education and A-level examinations.

NFER hosts the Eurydice Unit for England, Wales and Northern Ireland in the European Commission's Eurydice information network on education in Europe. Eurydice provides comparative studies and national descriptions on a wide range of themes on education in 33 countries.

We also manage the INCA website, which holds policy information on curriculum and assessment in 21 countries worldwide.

The range of information available via Eurydice and INCA enables us to carry out a range of enquiries, probes and studies for clients, tailored to specific questions.
